On October 19, AnySolution will begin to offer the courses of the project Eramus+ MINDS project, supported by the Erasmus+ program in its key action 2 KA210-VET.

AnySolutiona company from Mallorca, together with DIH Tourism 4.0 from the Czech Republic are participating in the Erasmus+ program with its MINDS project to develop new skills that respond to the new challenges of tourism.

The project aims to improve the digital competences and skills of workers of tourism companies (especially SMEs) and workers of tourist destinations, in order to contribute to the digital transformation of these companies, as well as to promote smart destinations. The training program is composed of different online modules, as well as a classroom module that will be carried out in the case of the Balearic Islands together with the FELIB and in the case of the Czech Republic with local tourism associations. MINDS will give priority to workers in the tourism sector in rural or isolated areas. The aim is to contribute to the recovery of the tourism sector in Europe and overcome some of the challenges brought by the COVID-19 crisis, responding to the two basic pillars of recovery, digitization and sustainability.

The main activities to be carried out under this project are:

  • Raise awareness among companies (mainly SMEs) and tourism destinations about Digital Transformation.
  • Intensify the skills of improvement and requalification of workers in the tourism sector and improve their employability and professionalization within the tourism sector through the implementation of digital training programs.
  • Contribute to the implementation of safe destinations through the dissemination and application of the DTI model.
  • Strengthening transnational cooperation

The courses will give priority to workers from SMEs, as they make up a significant percentage of the tourism business sector.

Erasmus+ 2021-2027 is the renewed program of the European Union in the fields of education and training, youth and sport, offering opportunities for all people and in all educational sectors (School Education, Vocational Education and Training, Higher Education and Adult Education).

This new Erasmus+ is more international, more inclusive, more digital and greener, supporting digital transformation, inclusion and diversity, as well as the environment and the fight against climate change. With a budget of more than €28 billion, it will fund learning-related mobility and cross-border cooperation projects for 10 million people of all ages and from all backgrounds.

About the Erasmus+ program

The new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program has as its main objective, in the field of education and training, the promotion of educational mobility of individuals and groups, both students and staff, as well as cooperation, quality, inclusion and equity, excellence, creativity and innovation at the level of organizations and policies. In relation to European education policies, especially the European Education Area 2025, the Program's priorities are inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, the environment and the fight against climate change, and participation in democratic life.

The Program is articulated around three main lines of activity or key actions (KA), in addition to the Jean Monnet action:

  • Key action 1 (KA1), mobility of people for learning purposes.
  • Key Action 2 (KA2), cooperation between organizations and institutions.
  • Key Action 3 (KA3), support for policy development and cooperation.
  • Jean Monnet Actions.

In addition to these priorities, the new Program will be even more international, thus allowing cooperation with third countries, a cooperation hitherto reserved for Higher Education and extended to the School Education and Vocational Training sectors.

There are opportunities for students (with special attention to participants with fewer opportunities), teachers and trainers, both for mobility for studies and/or internships in the case of students, and for teaching or training in the case of teachers and trainers.
