A new boost for tourism SMEs with training and financing
PHOENIX 4.0 is a European project that aims to boost sustainability, digitalization and resilience in the tourism sector, supporting SMEs in their transition towards more innovative and sustainable models.
Rapid changes in traveler preferences, the environmental impact of tourism and the need to adapt to digital challenges have tested the industry's ability to reinvent itself and evolve. PHOENIX 4.0 responds to these challenges by providing training, technical support and funding to tourism businesses across Europe.

AnySolution, a key player in the transformation of tourism
AnySolution plays a key role in PHOENIX 4.0, driving the call for national SMEs and facilitating their access to funding for collaborative projects that drive the digitization, sustainability and resilience of the tourism sector. Through this process, the company reinforces its commitment to the transformation and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe.
In addition, AnySolution leads the project's communication and dissemination strategy, ensuring that information and resources reach tourism businesses and key stakeholders, driving impact at the European level.
How does Phoenix 4.0 help tourism SMEs?
The project accompanies more than 120 tourism SMEs in Europe in their transformation, providing access to tools, training and support networks. To this end, PHOENIX 4.0 is structured in several key initiatives:
- Training and education: development of skills in resilience, digitalization and sustainability.
- Financing and technical support: access to resources to implement innovative business models.
- Cross-sectoral collaboration: connection with other key sectors such as mobility, education and circular economy.
- Tourism SMEs Resilience Navigator: creation of a tool designed to measure the sustainability and resilience of companies, providing consultancy tailored to their needs.

Throughout the project, the solutions developed in PHOENIX 4.0 will contribute to strengthening the resilience of tourism in Europe, providing SMEs with the necessary tools to innovate, adapt and grow in a constantly evolving market.

Call for funding and call for evaluators
One of the main activities carried out within the framework of the project is thecall for fundingaimed at financing collaborative projects led by tourism SMEs focused on resilience, sustainability, and digitization. The call will take place from January 15 to March 18, 2026. To ensure a rigorous and transparent selection process in line with European standards, we are also opening a call for evaluators, aimed at selecting independent experts who will participate in the evaluation of the proposals submitted.
Applications (CV +application form) must be submitted by:March 6, 2026, at 5 p.m. CET. You can read all the details (duties, evaluation criteria, schedule, and financial conditions) in theofficial rules.
Key information about the call for evaluators
The selected candidate must:

Evaluate all proposals managed by AnySolution (Spain, except Catalonia).

Issue qualitative assessments and quantitative scores following official templates.

Participate in two online meetings with the other evaluators (briefing and final validation).

Participate in evaluating project pitches during the National Demo Day online event.

Strictly comply with confidentiality requirements and the absence of conflicts of interest.
The evaluation process will take place between March and April 2026.
Evaluator requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Prove at least 5 years of experience and/or knowledge in the tourism sector and in EU-funded projects (demonstrable in your CV).

Have knowledge of innovation applied to resilience, sustainability, and/or digitization.

Learn about the context of tourism in Spain, its challenges, and its level of innovation.

Prove a minimum level of B2 in Spanish and English.
