QUANTIFARM

The real impact of digital technologies in the field

Analyze, design and implement real solutions for the sector.

The QuantiFarm project aims to boost the adoption of digital technology solutions in the agricultural sector, improving its performance, competitiveness and sustainability.

During the next three years (3 growing seasons), AnySolution will lead the implementation of this project in Spain, working in several farms distributed throughout the country. Our experience in data collection, development of digital technologies and IoT solutions will be key to carry out this project.

The objective

Over the last decade, interest and investment in digital technologies applied to agriculture (referred to as DATS in the project) has experienced unprecedented growth. Solutions such as agricultural drones, soil sensors, automated irrigation systems, farm management software and blockchain for food traceability have demonstrated their potential. However, the adoption of these technologies by farmers in Europe has been slower than expected, due to various challenges.

Quantifarm intends to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the impact of these technologies on 30 farms, both organic and conventional. The study will assess the benefits, costs and sustainability effects of these solutions. This information will enable the design and implementation of practical solutions that will benefit farmers, advisors and policy makers, helping to create more effective policies tailored to the real needs of the sector.

The benefits of Quantifarm

Through case research in 20 countries and coordinated action, QuantiFarm will enable:

  • Understand the key factors that influence the selection and application of digital technologies by farmers.
  • Assess the economic, environmental and social value of DATS, as well as their long-term sustainability.
  • Provide expert advice through the QuantiFarm Digital Innovation Academy, helping farmers choose the most appropriate technologies.
  • Assess the sustainability and competitiveness of DATS and the effectiveness of policy interventions.
  • Provide the QuantiFarm Toolkit, a customizable digital tool to facilitate access to assessment results and support decision making by farmers, advisors and policy makers.

The QuantiFarm project represents a unique opportunity to bring European farmers closer to the most advanced technological solutions, bridging the gap between digital innovation and its application in the field.
