FACILITATE is an ambitious European initiative that seeks to empower the tourism sector to adopt a truly data-driven and sustainable approach. Through the development of practical guidance, innovative tools and direct support, the project helps Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) and tourism SMEs to harness the power of data to make smarter, more sustainable and effective decisions.
Working hand in hand with leading initiatives such as D3HUB and DEPLOYTOUR, FACILITATE offers a collaborative framework and tailored training and capacity building opportunities.
Under the coordination of AnySolution, the consortium brings together partners with extensive experience in digitization, sustainability and tourism innovation, ensuring that FACILITATE generates real impact in destinations and businesses across Europe.

Target
The main objective of FACILITATE is to empower European tourism destinations to become more data-driven by providing:
A collaborative framework that promotes data-driven decision making.
- Tailor-made training and capacity building for DMOs and tourism SMEs throughout Europe.
- Access to digital tools and resources to measure, compare and improve performance and sustainability.
- Practical and updated guides to improve data management and exchange, taking full advantage of the services developed by D3HUB, DEPLOYTOUR and other European initiatives.
Expected results
- Creation of a community of users within the European Tourism Data Space.
- Development of guides and digital resources for DMOs and tourism SMEs.
- Implementation of at least 20 training and capacity building activities throughout Europe.
- Promotion of cooperation and knowledge exchange among the main players in the tourism ecosystem.
FACILITATE will contribute to a sustainable, competitive and resilient transformation of the tourism ecosystem, fully aligned with the EU's green and digital transition priorities.
